Chocolate Pot de Creme

Ingredients
Custard Cream:
- 2 1/8 cups heavy cream
- 3/8 cup 2 percent milk
- 5 ounces semisweet chocolate
- dash of vanilla powder or vanilla
- 7 egg yolks
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
Directions
Step 1
- Simmer the milk and heavy cream.
Step 2
- Remove from heat and add the chocolate and vanilla powder or vanilla.
Step 3
- Separately whisk the egg yolks and brown sugar. Combine with the chocolate mixture.
Step 4
- Divide into 6 ramekins and set in pan. Fill water around cups to halfway up sides.
- Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.
